...when you do things without the support from people you care?
...when you seek opinions on things that you really like frm people you care and what you got in return are frowned faces, sighs and reluctant 'ok lah...' replies?
Is being supportive really that hard?
It's a thin line between being honest yet encouraging and being critical and discouraging.
Sometimes when people ask, it's not so much of seeking the right answers but to get affirmations and consolations even when they already knew the answers themselves.
Sometimes people get stressed up not because of the situations they are in, but the way people around them behave.
Sometimes, all that is necessary is just the trust that you put in others, believing that they know their limits and can handle their own matters well.
At times like these, you can only tell yourself to take things in your stride and that it's fine, what matters most afterall is still yourself. Because you are only responsible to yourself.
