Shooting Stars

Yahoo! news says there's shooting stars today dawn. Anybody saw it? I rmb the last time which was also my first time watching meteor stars was 7~8 yrs ago? Lying on the mat at the beach, tgt w hundreds of ppl, waiting for the stars to fall off the sky. And the funny thing is you would always hear a commotion, supposedly the cue to the 'arrival' of the stars, but thn see nth afterwards. But anyway, i have forgotten what were my wishes...or mayb in the first place, have i even seen one?
