Probably things that you dont remember arent that important afterall.

Im so tired. Walked the entire day today. Went to retrieve the laptop back from the technician at Harvey Norman. Bad news, nothing is retrievable. Every folder every document every photo is corrupted. Just what have that SOPHOS person done i really dont know. And they claimed they got the most experienced IT person in the company to handle our laptop on our second visit. Obviously their standards are really questionable, to think its even a multi-national company. Save that crap pls! If you are really responsible, to begin with you shldnt even hand our laptop to an attachment boy on the first day.

Whatmore, ALBERT, that so-called-most-experienced-IT-savvy SOPHOS guy, didnt even bother to explain clearly to my mum over the phone that he is asking the permission to delete EVERYTHING, including my user. Because the thing is, its so obvious there are 2 different users, and 2 different names, with 2 different photos at the login user page! My mum only gave him her user account password, so why the hell did he even touched mine? Isnt it common sense to have the courtesy and responsibility to make yourself clear to the customers? It is YOUR responsibility as a service provider to be sensitive enough to observe and know your customers needs and acknowledge the group that requires more detailed simplified explanations.

And also, he used a technical term which even me, your average teenager who knows more but not alot on computers, doesnt understands, what more bout my mum who knws nearly nth bout it? He didnt even bother to explain the term and just asked my mum if its alright to go ahead with it. So i supposed you took it for granted that all your customers know the IT terms? If so, im afraid all the certs and courses you've attended are kinda redundant because even the average joe knows the things you study when they didnt.

I dont know if thats the case but im utterly disgusted by how people just want to complete their agenda and being oblivious to every other thing. He might just want to install the program into as many laptops as possible to please the boss or get a higher pay or whatever. But has he ever thought like the things he simply delete with the click of a mouse can actually mean alot to the owner? Like it took years to build up the photo collection but just a second to make all the efforts go down to drain.

Idk. Im just kinda upset bout this whole matter. Seriously i think who's right or wrong didnt matter alrdy because what's gone can nvr be back. But i just need to rant it here, because my mum is feeling really guilty towards me for the loss and i dont think i should add on any unneccesary unhappiness on her anymore since its not really her fault. And to think of it im at fault too since i never had the habit of doing backup.

When i switched on the laptop just now, it feels so new to me its like im using a laptop for the first time, because there's nth left and ive got to start from scratch.

The feeling really sucks, really.
